How we look after your details
This notice is written in plain English for people in Ireland. It tells you what Ablement collects when you book a call, why, where it is kept, and what your rights are.
Who is responsible for your details

What we collect
When you use the callback form we collect your name, your phone number, and, if you give it to us, a good time to ring you. That is all. We do not ask about your health, your condition, your medical card, or any other health information on this website, and you should not include any in the form even if there is a free-text box.
Why we collect it
We use your name and phone number for one reason: to ring you back about a possible hip or knee operation in Spain under the Cross-Border Directive scheme. We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not sell or share them with anyone outside Ablement, other than the service providers named below who help us run the callback form and our email.
Where your details are stored
The callback form is provided by Netlify Forms, whose servers are located in the United States. When you call or email us, or after we ring you back, your details may also sit in our mailbox at hello@ablement.eu, which runs on Google Workspace. [Transfers of personal data from Ireland to the United States rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or the standard contractual clauses used by Netlify and Google — to confirm before launch.]
How long we keep it
We delete your details after we have called you, and in any case no later than 30 days after you submit the form, unless you go on to become a patient, in which case we keep what is needed for your case under separate arrangements agreed with you on the phone.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to ask us what we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to object to how we use it. To use any of these rights, email hello@ablement.eu. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission, the regulator for data protection in Ireland, at www.dataprotection.ie.
